The MYC Sailing School on beautiful Muskegon Lake offers children ages 6 and older as well as adults the opportunity to learn to sail through a variety of sailing classes that are designed for both beginner and experienced sailors.
Students at all levels will experience the thrill of sailing through a combination of classroom instruction, games, activities, and on-the-water experiences designed to develop personal independence and responsibility, sailing knowledge, boat handling and safety skills.
CHECK OUT THE JOY OF SAILING FOR FREE DURING OUR WELCOME WEEK JUNE 15-18! Welcome week offers a variety of great opportunities for youth of nearly all ages to sample our regular summer sailing classes AT NO COST!
Our REGULAR DAYTIME YOUTH SAILING CLASSES for the summer of 2020 will be offered during 8 one-week youth sessions.
Do evenings work better for you? Are you an adult who simply wants to try sailing? Are you and your friends looking for a fun alternative to “book club” or “girls night out”? Would you like to learn to sail with one of your children? Are you a teenager who has a job or sports practices during the day? Our MONDAY EVENING CLASS for men, women, teens and families is the perfect opportunity for you to get out on the water!
Classes are led by US Sailing Certified Instructors who are experienced sailors and also certified in CPR.
Instructor-to-student ratios are kept small to maximize each student’s experience, so class size is limited.
